Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour or self-rising flour omit baking powder and salt if using self-rising flour
  • 1 cup cottage cheese 2% milkfat recommended for creaminess
  • ½ tsp sea salt to enhance flavor
  • 1 large egg whisked
  • 1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning adjust to liking

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure perfect baking.
  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cottage cheese, sea salt, and half of the whisked egg. Mix until a dough forms; add more flour if too sticky.
  • Step 3: Divide the dough into four portions, roll into balls, and poke a hole in the center to shape into bagels. Place on a baking sheet.
  • Step 4: Brush the tops with the remaining whisked egg and sprinkle everything bagel seasoning generously.
  • Step 5: Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and firm.
  • Step 6: Allow to cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • These bagels are great for meal prep; make the dough a day ahead.
