For the Satay Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter smooth
  • 1/3 cup seasoned rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

  • In a medium mixing bowl, add the 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter, 1/3 cup of seasoned rice vinegar, and 3 tablespoons of low-sodium soy sauce.
  • Using a whisk or fork, mix the ingredients together until they are fully combined and smooth. You want to achieve a creamy, velvety consistency that is free of lumps.
  • Once mixed, taste your sauce. If you'd like it tangier, add a bit more rice vinegar. If you prefer it sweeter, a touch of honey or maple syrup can be added to enhance the flavor.

Notes

  • Store the sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Before using leftovers, stir well as ingredients may separate.
  • For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays and then transfer to a freezer bag.
