Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a large mixing bowl, add 1 3/4 cups self-rising flour and 1 cup vanilla yogurt. Stir until a soft, cohesive dough forms. (Do not add other ingredients; if the dough is sticky to handle, lightly dust the work surface with flour.)
  • Lightly flour a work surface, transfer the dough to it, and knead gently several times to bring it together. Roll the dough into a large rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  • In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons melted butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Stir until evenly mixed.
  • Using a spatula or the back of a spoon, spread the cinnamon mixture evenly over the rolled dough, leaving a 1/2‑inch border along the edges.
  • Starting at the long side, roll the dough tightly into a log. Use a sharp knife to slice the log into eight equal portions.
  • Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and arrange 3 or 4 rolls in the basket without overcrowding (leave space for air to circulate). Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 7–8 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  • Remove the cooked rolls from the basket, then air fry the remaining rolls in the same way.
  • Let the cinnamon rolls cool slightly while you make the frosting.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat 2 ounces softened cream cheese and 2 tablespoons softened butter until combined. Add 6 tablespoons confectioners sugar and beat until smooth.
  • Spread the frosting over the warm cinnamon rolls and serve.
