Ingredients
  

Fish Fillets

  • 6-8 pieces fish fillets (2 oz each) Use firm white fish like cod, haddock, or tilapia.

Oil

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil

Breadcrumbs

  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs Use gluten-free breadcrumbs for a gluten-free option.

Spices

  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder or granules
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine paprika, chili powder, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Toss the fish fillets in the spice mixture until evenly coated.
  • Step 3: In a shallow dish, add the dry bread crumbs and drizzle with olive oil. Mix well to coat the crumbs with oil.
  • Step 4: Dip each seasoned fish fillet into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to ensure a thick coat.
  • Step 5: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Step 6: Place the breaded fish fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Step 7: Carefully remove the fish from the air fryer and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain crispiness.
