- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper or to taste

Start by rinsing the fresh green beans under cold water. Trim the ends by snapping them off or using a knife.
In a mixing bowl, combine the trimmed green beans with 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil. Sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt and 1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper. Toss the beans until they are evenly coated.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Place the seasoned green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Check the green beans for doneness after 8 minutes. They should be tender yet crisp. Cook a couple more minutes if you prefer them charred.
