Start by rinsing the raw shrimp under cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
In a mixing bowl, combine the avocado oil, minced garlic, ground paprika, sea salt, and fresh lemon juice. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
Add the cleaned shrimp to the bowl with the marinade. Toss gently to ensure each shrimp is evenly coated. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Place the marinated shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
The shrimp are done when they turn pink and opaque. If they need more time, continue to air fry in one-minute increments until fully cooked.
Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the air fryer and serve them immediately, garnished with lemon wedges and fresh herbs if desired.
