  • 16 ozmac and cheese ballsfrozen or fresh premade
  • 1 cuppizza saucewarmed
  • 1 tspfresh chopped parsleyoptional

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (204°C).
  • Arrange the 16 oz mac and cheese balls in a single flat layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping; cook in batches if necessary.
  • Air fry for 6 minutes.
  • Shake the basket or use tongs/spatula to turn the mac and cheese balls so they cook evenly.
  • Continue air frying until the balls are golden brown and beginning to burst: if using fresh/premade (not frozen) air fry an additional 6–10 minutes (total ~12–16 minutes); if using frozen air fry an additional 12–15 minutes (total ~18–21 minutes). Check in the last few minutes to avoid over-browning.
  • While the balls finish cooking, warm the 1 cup pizza sauce (microwave in short intervals or heat gently on the stove) until heated through.
  • Transfer the cooked mac and cheese balls to a plate and let cool 1–2 minutes.
  • Serve with the warmed pizza sauce and sprinkle with 1 tsp fresh chopped parsley, if desired.
