For the Fries:
- 8 ounces avocados peeled, pitted, cut into 16 wedges
- 1 large egg lightly beaten
- 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs gluten-free if desired
- 1 1/4 teaspoons lime chili seasoning salt such as Tajin Classic
- 1/4 cup 0% Greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon lime chili seasoning salt such as Tajin Classic
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
Cooking Steps:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to achieve a crispy texture.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
In one bowl, place the lightly beaten egg. In another bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and 1 1/4 teaspoons of lime chili seasoning salt.
Dip each avocado wedge in the egg, then coat it in the panko mixture.
Arrange the coated wedges on the baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
While baking, prepare the dipping sauce by whisking together Greek yogurt, light mayonnaise, lime juice, and 1/2 teaspoon lime chili seasoning salt.
Serve warm with the dipping sauce and enjoy!
- Use ripe avocados for the best texture.
- Experiment with different seasonings like garlic powder or smoked paprika.
- For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2 minutes of baking.
