Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the vegetable oil, smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic granules, onion granules, ground black pepper, and salt. Whisk until smooth. Add the chicken drumsticks and toss to coat.
Step 3: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Place a wire rack on top and arrange the drumsticks on the rack.
Step 4: Bake the drumsticks for 25 minutes.
Step 5: Brush the drumsticks with BBQ sauce and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Step 6: Check for doneness with a meat thermometer (should reach 165°F or 74°C).
Step 7: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the drumsticks overnight. Use a variety of BBQ sauces to suit your taste.
