- 1 pound breakfast sausage I use Jimmy Dean for its robust flavor and quality.
- 1 8-ounce can refrigerated crescent roll dough This will form the base of your pizza.
- 1 tablespoon melted butter Adds richness and helps to brown the dough.
- 1/2 teaspoon Cajun or Creole seasoning A little kick to elevate the flavor.
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder A must for that aromatic essence.
- 1/3 cup jarred Alfredo sauce Creamy goodness that binds everything together.
- 1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese For melty, gooey perfection.
- 5 large eggs The star ingredient, providing protein and fluff.
- 2 green onions sliced for a fresh, crunchy garnish.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease your baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the breakfast sausage. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten. In the same skillet, add a touch of butter if needed, and scramble the eggs until just set, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Roll out the crescent roll dough on the prepared baking sheet, pressing the seams together to form a solid crust. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and garlic powder. Spread the Alfredo sauce over the dough.
Top the sauce with the cooked sausage, scrambled eggs, and shredded cheese, spreading evenly.
Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Sprinkle sliced green onions over the top. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares or wedges. Serve warm and enjoy!
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat slices in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes to retain crispiness.
- For longer storage, freeze slices tightly wrapped for up to 2 months.
