- 1 stick + 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 (10-ounce) bag marshmallows
- 1 (7-ounce) bag sweetened shredded coconut toasted
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/4 cup Nutella for drizzling
Step 1: Toast the Coconut. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the coconut evenly on a baking sheet and toast for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
Step 2: Brown the Butter. In a large saucepan, melt the stick + 2 tablespoons of salted butter over medium heat, stirring frequently until golden brown.
Step 3: Add the Marshmallows. Once the butter is browned, add the entire 10-ounce bag of marshmallows to the saucepan and stir until completely melted.
Step 4: Combine with Rice Krispies. Remove from heat and add the toasted coconut and 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal. Fold until well-coated.
Step 5: Transfer to the Baking Dish. Line your 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper and pour in the mixture, pressing down firmly.
Step 6: Drizzle with Nutella. Melt the Nutella slightly and drizzle over the top of the treats.
Step 7: Allow to Set. Let the treats cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
