  • Baking Sheets
  • Cookie scoop or spoon
  • Cooling rack

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter unsalted, room temperature
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dried cherries

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Crack in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sea salt, and baking soda. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and dried cherries until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Notes

  • Ensure butter is at room temperature for best results.
  • Consider soaking dried cherries in warm water for a more pronounced flavor.
  • Freeze cookie dough for up to 3 months for future baking.
