Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sage, ground
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, salt, black pepper, sage, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and honey. Using your hands or a spoon, mix until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Once the mixture is well combined, form the mixture into patties or logs based on your preference.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil if desired. Carefully place the sausage patties in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the sausage from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
  • Freeze cooked sausages in a freezer-safe bag for up to three months.
  • For extra flavor, customize your sausage with additional spices like paprika or cumin.
