  • ¼ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon Tahini
  • cup Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Gather your ingredients. Rinse and drain the chickpeas, measure out your cocoa powder, tahini, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • Step 2: In a food processor, add the rinsed chickpeas, cocoa powder, tahini, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • Step 3: Process the mixture on high until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency. Add water if needed to adjust thickness.
  • Step 4: Taste your chocolate hummus and adjust sweetness or cocoa as desired.
  • Step 5: Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy with fresh fruit, pretzels, or graham crackers.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Stir before serving as it may thicken.
