- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt (Lawry's brand recommended)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 12 ounces crescent rolls (8 count)
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese (divided)
- 1 to 1½ cups shredded mozzarella & provolone cheese blend (Sargento brand preferred, divided)
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper if desired.
In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic salt, and Italian seasoning. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Open the package of crescent rolls and unroll the dough on a clean surface.
Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide and tie each strip into a knot.
Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet and generously coat each knot with the garlic butter mixture.
Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the knots, then add shredded mozzarella & provolone cheese blend on top.
Bake the knots for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm.
- Store leftover knots in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
- Freeze unbaked knots before brushing with butter for up to 2 months.
- Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 5-10 minutes.
