- 8 pieces pita bread cut into 8 triangles
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Kosher salt to taste
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Take your pita bread and cut each piece into 8 equal triangles.
In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, cumin, and a sprinkle of kosher salt. Stir until well blended.
Place the pita triangles in the bowl with the oil mixture. Coat each triangle evenly with the oil and spices.
Arrange the coated pita triangles in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
Bake the pita chips for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
Remove the chips from the oven and let them cool slightly on the baking sheet.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
- Try using whole wheat pita for added flavor and fiber.
