Ingredients:
- 1 Ziploc bag Ziploc bag
- 1 piece pipe cleaner
- 1 stick cheese stick
- ½ cup fresh fruit such as grapes, apple slices, or berries
- ½ cup mini sandwich crackers
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Cheese Stick - Begin by unwrapping your cheese stick. This will serve as the butterfly's body, so make sure it is ready to go.
Step 2: Cut the Pipe Cleaner - Using scissors, cut the pipe cleaner into a length of about 6 inches. This will be long enough to create the antennae of your butterfly.
Step 3: Form the Antennae - Fold the pipe cleaner in half to create a V-shape at one end, forming the antennae. Twist the ends to secure them together and give them a playful curl.
Step 4: Assemble the Snack Bag - In your Ziploc bag, add the cheese stick as the center of the butterfly. On one side, place the fresh fruit, and on the other side, add the mini sandwich crackers.
Step 5: Insert the Antennae - Finally, slide the folded end of the pipe cleaner into the top of the cheese stick, allowing the antennae to stand up.
Step 6: Seal and Enjoy! - Seal the Ziploc bag and your DIY Butterfly Snack Bag is ready to be enjoyed!
- Consume the snacks within 24 hours for the best taste and texture.
- Keep the prepared bags in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
- Store the cheese stick separately from the fruits and crackers to prevent sogginess.
