- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1.5 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup diced cold butter
- 1 can dulce de leche room temperature
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease your baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
Add the diced cold butter to the dry mixture and cut it in until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Reserve about 1 1/2 cups of the crust mixture for the topping.
Press the remaining crust mixture firmly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
Spread the dulce de leche over the crust evenly.
Sprinkle the reserved crust mixture evenly over the dulce de leche layer.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Let cool in the dish for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares or bars.
