Instructions

  • Gather all your ingredients and chop the dried beef and green onions. Make sure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easy mixing.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and salt. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  • Fold in three ounces of the chopped dried beef and three chopped green onions into the cheese mixture. This adds flavor and texture to your cheese ball.
  • Spoon the mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap. Using the wrap, shape the mixture into a ball. Wrap it tightly and refrigerate for at least two hours to firm up.
  • Once the cheese ball has chilled, unwrap it from the plastic wrap. Roll the cheese ball in the remaining chopped dried beef and green onions to coat the outside evenly.
  • Transfer the cheese ball to a serving platter and serve it with your favorite crackers, sliced vegetables, or bread. Enjoy the compliments that come your way!

Notes

  • Wrap tightly in plastic wrap for refrigeration to keep fresh.
  • Can be made a day or two in advance for convenience.
  • Experiment with different cheeses for unique flavors.
