Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
In a large mixing bowl, season the wings with salt and pepper to taste.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, vegetable oil, ketchup, minced garlic, and cayenne pepper.
Add the seasoned wings to the marinade, ensuring each wing is well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top if available.
Arrange the marinated wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for about 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
In the last 10 minutes of baking, brush the wings with extra marinade.
Once baked, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with dipping sauces.
