Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the Cabbage - Remove any damaged leaves from the cabbage, rinse it thoroughly, cut into quarters, and remove the core.
  • Step 2: Sauté the Cabbage (Optional) - Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the Instant Pot, add cabbage pieces, and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  • Step 3: Add Stock and Seasoning - Pour in the vegetable stock and sprinkle salt and pepper over the cabbage.
  • Step 4: Pressure Cook - Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on manual for 2 minutes.
  • Step 5: Quick Release - Perform a quick release by turning the valve to venting and allow steam to escape.
  • Step 6: Finish with Butter - Add the remaining tablespoon of butter, stir to coat the cabbage, and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Step 7: Serve and Enjoy - Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy fresh.

Notes

Don’t overcook the cabbage; 2 minutes is ideal for tender yet slightly crisp cabbage. Experiment with herbs for added flavor.
