Instructions
Gather all of your ingredients. Make sure you have your ground beef formed into 4-ounce patties. Season them with your choice of spices or simply with salt and pepper according to your taste.
Start by adding ½ cup of water to the bottom of the Instant Pot.
Place a piece of foil or parchment paper on top of the trivet in the Instant Pot.
Carefully place the seasoned burger patties onto the foil or parchment paper in the Instant Pot.
Close the lid of the Instant Pot, ensuring it’s sealed properly. Set the Instant Pot to high pressure and cook the hamburgers for just 8 minutes.
Once the cooking time is up, carefully perform a quick release to let out the steam.
After the pressure has been released, carefully open the lid and use tongs to remove the burgers.
Notes
For added flavor, consider marinating the ground beef for a few hours before forming the patties. Make sure the patties are uniform in thickness for even cooking.
