Hamburger Patties

  • 4 oz Ground Beef Burger Patties Formed into 4-ounce patties

Water

  • 0.5 cup Water To create steam at the bottom of the pot

Cleanup Material

  • 1 sheet Foil or Parchment Paper For easy cleanup

Instructions
 

  • Gather all of your ingredients. Make sure you have your ground beef formed into 4-ounce patties. Season them with your choice of spices or simply with salt and pepper according to your taste.
  • Start by adding ½ cup of water to the bottom of the Instant Pot.
  • Place a piece of foil or parchment paper on top of the trivet in the Instant Pot.
  • Carefully place the seasoned burger patties onto the foil or parchment paper in the Instant Pot.
  • Close the lid of the Instant Pot, ensuring it’s sealed properly. Set the Instant Pot to high pressure and cook the hamburgers for just 8 minutes.
  • Once the cooking time is up, carefully perform a quick release to let out the steam.
  • After the pressure has been released, carefully open the lid and use tongs to remove the burgers.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the ground beef for a few hours before forming the patties. Make sure the patties are uniform in thickness for even cooking.
