Ingredients
  

Brussels Sprouts

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ½ cup Vegetable stock

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the Brussels Sprouts - Wash the Brussels sprouts thoroughly, remove damaged leaves, trim the ends, and cut them in half if large.
  • Step 2: Sauté the Garlic - Turn on the Instant Pot, select 'Sauté', add a splash of vegetable stock, and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Step 3: Add the Brussels Sprouts - Add the prepared Brussels sprouts to the pot, stir to coat with garlic, and cook for about 2 minutes.
  • Step 4: Add Vegetable Stock - Pour in the vegetable stock, season with salt and pepper, and ensure the sprouts are nestled in the liquid.
  • Step 5: Pressure Cook - Secure the lid, set the valve to 'Sealing', and select 'Manual' or 'Pressure Cook' for 5 minutes.
  • Step 6: Quick Release and Serve - Perform a quick release of the pressure, remove the lid, and stir the Brussels sprouts gently.
  • Step 7: Optional Roasting - For extra flavor, transfer to a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and broil for 3-5 minutes until golden-brown.

Notes

Choose firm Brussels sprouts for the best flavor. You can add red pepper flakes for a kick or balsamic vinegar for a nutty flavor.
