- 1 cup unsalted butter room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract optional
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- strawberry jam or your favorite flavor
Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add egg and extracts, mixing until fully incorporated.
