Equipment

  • Measuring Cups
  • Mixing bowls
  • Spoons
  • Clear cups or glass jars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup yogurt Nonfat vanilla or plain Greek yogurt works best.
  • 2 cups fruit Choose from strawberries, blueberries, peaches, or any favorite fruit. Dice if large.
  • 1 cup granola Use your favorite store-bought granola or make your own.
  • Optional mix-ins chia seeds, nuts, coconut flakes, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
  • Sweeteners Honey or maple syrup, if desired.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients - Start by assembling all your ingredients. Have your yogurt, fruit, granola, and any optional mix-ins ready to go.
  • Step 2: Choose Your Base - Decide on your yogurt base. In a cup or jar, add 1 cup of your chosen yogurt. If you’re using plain yogurt, you might want to add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup for sweetness.
  • Step 3: Add Fruit - Layer in your choice of fruit. Start with a layer of fresh, diced fruit. For a more aesthetic look, arrange the pieces neatly against the glass.
  • Step 4: Sprinkle Granola - Next, add a layer of granola on top of the fruit. This adds texture and crunch to your parfait.
  • Step 5: Repeat the Layers - Repeat the layers as desired. You can alternate yogurt, fruit, and granola until you reach the top of your cup or jar.
  • Step 6: Add Optional Mix-Ins - If you’d like, sprinkle chia seeds, nuts, or coconut flakes on top for added flavor and nutrition.
  • Step 7: Finish with a Sweet Drizzle - Finally, if you like a little extra sweetness, drizzle a bit of honey or maple syrup over the top before serving.

Notes

  • Store yogurt separately in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
  • Pre-cut fruit can be stored in the fridge but avoid cutting fruits like bananas too far in advance.
  • Keep granola in an airtight container to preserve crunchiness.
