Ingredients
  

For the Wings:

  • 1 to 2 pounds fresh chicken wings and drumettes wing tips removed (about 20 fresh)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ cup Frank's Original Red Hot Sauce
  • 6 tablespoons salted butter melted
  • 1-2 teaspoons brown sugar optional

Instructions
 

Cooking Instructions:

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken wings with baking powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well.
  • Step 3: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, place a wire rack on top, and spray with cooking spray. Arrange wings in a single layer on the rack.
  • Step 4: Bake wings for about 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Step 5: While wings bake, melt butter in a saucepan, stir in Frank's Red Hot Sauce and brown sugar (if using).
  • Step 6: Once wings are done, toss them with the Buffalo sauce and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Store leftover wings in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze wings for up to 3 months for longer storage.
  • Reheat baked wings at 400°F for 25-30 minutes for best results.
