For the Wings:
- 1 to 2 pounds fresh chicken wings and drumettes wing tips removed (about 20 fresh)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ cup Frank's Original Red Hot Sauce
- 6 tablespoons salted butter melted
- 1-2 teaspoons brown sugar optional
Cooking Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken wings with baking powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well.
Step 3: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, place a wire rack on top, and spray with cooking spray. Arrange wings in a single layer on the rack.
Step 4: Bake wings for about 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Step 5: While wings bake, melt butter in a saucepan, stir in Frank's Red Hot Sauce and brown sugar (if using).
Step 6: Once wings are done, toss them with the Buffalo sauce and serve immediately.
