Equipment

  • Medium Saucepan
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • 9x13 inch Baking Dish
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 ½ cups Reese's peanut butter chips coarsely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 7 ounces marshmallow crème (1 jar)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups assorted candy chopped or whole

Instructions

  • Start by lining a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper. This will make it easier to lift the fudge out once it has set.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Once the butter has melted, add in the granulated sugar and evaporated milk. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a gentle boil and let it boil for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the coarsely chopped Reese's peanut butter chips and salt until fully melted and smooth.
  • Gently fold in the marshmallow crème and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
  • Fold in your assorted candy, whether chopped or whole, mixing well.
  • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly. Allow it to cool at room temperature for about 2 hours.
  • Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang and cut into squares or rectangles.

Notes

  • Stir continuously while the fudge mixture is boiling to prevent burning.
  • Let the fudge cool completely for the perfect texture.
  • Consider using a mix of white chocolate and peanut butter chips for added richness.
