- 1 cup unsalted butter melted
- 2 packages mini-marshmallows 10 ounces each, divided use
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter brands like Jif or Skippy work perfectly
- 1 pinch sea salt to enhance flavors
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract for depth of flavor
- 5 cups Cocoa Krispies cereal for chocolatey crunch
- 5 cups Cap'n Crunch's Peanut Butter Crunch cereal for extra peanut buttery goodness
- 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips melts beautifully
- 1 cup Reese's peanut butter baking chips for extra peanut butter flavor
- 1 bag Reese's Minis Unwrapped 7.6 ounces
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the 1 cup of unsalted butter until liquefied. Add 1 package of mini-marshmallows (10 ounces) and stir continuously until melted and smooth, about 5 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 1 cup of creamy peanut butter, a pinch of sea salt, and 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract until well combined and glossy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 5 cups of Cocoa Krispies cereal and 5 cups of Cap'n Crunch's Peanut Butter Crunch cereal. Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the cereals and mix well.
Gently fold in 1 cup of semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips, 1 cup of Reese's peanut butter baking chips, and the entire bag of Reese's Minis Unwrapped.
Transfer the mixture into the prepared 9x13 inch baking pan and use a rubber spatula to press it evenly into the pan.
Allow the treats to cool completely at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then cut into squares or rectangles with a sharp knife.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
- For longer storage, wrap individual pieces in plastic wrap and freeze for up to three months.
- Microwave for 10-15 seconds to reheat and soften before enjoying.
