Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup salted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white granulated sugar plus extra for rolling
  • 1 piece egg
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 24 pieces Hershey Kisses unwrapped

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat the Oven - Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking.
  • Step 2: Cream the Butter and Sugars - In a large bowl, combine softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Cream together until light and fluffy.
  • Step 3: Add the Egg, Peanut Butter, and Vanilla - Beat in the egg, peanut butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Step 4: Combine Dry Ingredients - In a separate bowl, whisk flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Step 5: Scoop the Dough - Portion out dough and roll into balls. Roll in granulated sugar before placing on a baking sheet.
  • Step 6: Bake the Cookies - Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden. Cookies may appear underbaked.
  • Step 7: Add the Hershey Kisses - Press a Hershey Kiss into the center of each cookie immediately after baking. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
