  • 8 cups plain popped popcorn
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:

  • Step 1: Prepare the Popcorn
    Start by popping 8 cups of plain popcorn. Remove any unpopped kernels and transfer the popcorn to a large mixing bowl.
  • Step 2: Melt the Chocolate and Peanut Butter
    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter, and 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth and fully melted.
  • Step 3: Add Salt
    Once melted, add 1/8 teaspoon of salt to the mixture. Stir well to combine.
  • Step 4: Coat the Popcorn
    Pour the melted mixture over the popped popcorn. Use a spatula to gently fold and coat the popcorn evenly.
  • Step 5: Dust with Powdered Sugar
    Sprinkle 1-1/2 cups of powdered sugar over the coated popcorn. Toss gently to coat.
  • Step 6: Cool and Serve
    Spread the coated popcorn onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool. Once cooled, break into pieces and serve.
