Ingredients
  

  • 215 ml milk for the dough
  • 7 g dry yeast to activate the dough
  • 500 g flour all-purpose
  • 100 ml oil neutral oil
  • 1 large egg for richness
  • 100 g sugar for sweetness
  • 1 tsp salt to enhance flavors
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence for fragrance
  • 75 g butter melted, for brushing
  • Nutella Nutella for filling
  • 25 ml milk for brushing before baking

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the warm 215 ml of milk and the dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  • Add flour, sugar, salt, oil, egg, and vanilla essence to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  • Roll out the dough into a rectangle, cut into triangles, place Nutella at the base, and roll up to shape.
  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Place croissants on a baking sheet and brush with a mixture of melted butter and 25 ml of milk.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Keep an eye on them!
  • Let cool slightly on a wire rack, serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
  • Freeze individually wrapped croissants for up to 3 months.
  • Thaw and reheat in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 5-10 minutes.
