- 1 can Fiesta Nacho Cheese Soup 10.5-oz
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1 cup Instant rice
- 1 cup Salsa
- 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
In a medium saucepan, combine the can of Fiesta Nacho Cheese Soup and the chicken broth. Stir them together over medium heat until they are well mixed and start to warm up.
Once the cheese mixture is heated through, stir in the salsa to add flavor contrast.
Add the instant rice to the pot, stirring well to coat all the rice in the cheesy salsa mixture. Bring to a gentle boil.
Once boiling, cover the saucepan with a lid and remove it from heat. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to allow the rice to absorb the flavors.
After the rice has absorbed the liquid, fluff it with a fork and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top. Cover again and let it sit for a couple of minutes until the cheese melts.
Give the rice a final stir to mix in the melted cheese, then serve warm.
