  • 1 large swede/rutabaga Peeled and chopped into cubes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Or granules
  • 1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
  • teaspoon ground black pepper
  • teaspoon chili flakes Optional
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Step 2: Peel the swede and chop it into even 1-inch cubes.
  • Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine swede cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, mixed herbs, black pepper, chili flakes, and salt. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Step 4: Spread the seasoned swede cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 25-30 minutes, tossing halfway through.
  • Step 5: Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding fresh herbs or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before serving.
