- 1 28oz package cream cheese softened
- 1 bunch green onions chopped
- 1/4 to 1/3 lb. hard salami (Cervelat recommended), cut into small pieces
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Start by gathering all your ingredients. Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature, as this will make mixing a breeze!
In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, chopped green onions, and mayonnaise. Using a spatula, mix them together until well combined and smooth.
Next, fold in the hard salami pieces and shredded cheddar cheese. Ensure everything is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
Sprinkle in the salt and black pepper. Mix again until all the ingredients are thoroughly blended. Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Lay out a large piece of plastic wrap on your countertop. Spoon the mixture into the center of the wrap and gather the edges to form a ball shape. Twist the ends of the plastic wrap to secure and shape the ball. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
Once chilled, unwrap the cream cheese ball and place it on a serving platter. Pair with your favorite crackers, vegetables, or bread for an irresistible appetizer. Enjoy the deliciousness and watch your guests come back for seconds!
