Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Rice cooker or pot
  • Sharp Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

For the Salmon Bowl:

  • 2 fillets salmon cut into 1-inch pieces and cooked
  • 1 cup cooked rice (Sushi Rice Recipe)
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 small cucumbers sliced
  • 1 medium carrot shredded
  • 2 avocados sliced
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1/2 cup kimchi
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup Spicy Mayo (homemade)

Instructions

Preparation Steps:

  • Start by cooking your salmon fillets according to the Air Fryer Salmon Bites With Honey Soy Glaze recipe. Cut the salmon into 1-inch pieces and season them as desired before placing them in the air fryer. Cook until golden and flaky.
  • While the salmon is cooking, prepare your sushi rice. If you are using a rice cooker, follow the instructions for the perfect fluffy rice. If cooking on the stove, rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then combine with the appropriate amount of water and cook.
  • Slice the cucumbers, shred the carrot, and slice the avocados and green onions. Make sure all vegetables are ready to be added to your bowl for a colorful and nutritious presentation.
  • In a large bowl, start by adding a base of cooked rice. Layer on the fresh spinach, followed by the cooked salmon pieces, sliced cucumbers, shredded carrots, sliced avocados, and green onions.
  • Top your bowl with a generous scoop of kimchi, a sprinkle of sesame seeds, and a drizzle of spicy mayo for that extra kick.
  • Mix everything together in the bowl and enjoy your beautifully arranged Salmon Bowl. Feel free to customize it further with your favorite toppings or additional sauces!

Notes

  • Check the salmon frequently while cooking to avoid overcooking.
  • Rinse the rice before cooking for better texture.
  • Store leftover components separately to maintain freshness.
