  • Gather the measured ingredients: ¾ cup mayonnaise, ½ cup sour cream, ½ cup buttermilk, ¼ teaspoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, ½ teaspoon lime juice, ¼ teaspoon garlic salt, 4 teaspoons tomato sauce, and ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the ¾ cup mayonnaise and ½ cup sour cream. Whisk until smooth and homogenous.
  • Pour in the ½ cup buttermilk and whisk until the mixture is evenly combined and smooth.
  • Add ¼ teaspoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, ½ teaspoon lime juice, ¼ teaspoon garlic salt, 4 teaspoons tomato sauce, and ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper. Whisk thoroughly, scraping the sides and bottom of the bowl, until fully blended and smooth.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld. Whisk briefly before serving.
