Ingredients
  

  • 1 baguette Baguette cut into small cubes
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the baguette into small cubes, about 1-inch in size.
  • In a large mixing bowl, place the bread cubes and drizzle the olive oil over them. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Sprinkle sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper over the oiled bread. Adjust seasonings to taste.
  • Spread the seasoned bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy, tossing halfway through.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Using day-old bread works best for crispiness.
  • Add minced garlic or garlic powder for extra flavor.
  • These croutons can be made ahead and stored for up to two weeks.
