The Best Trail Mix (Made with Only 5 Ingredients!)
A simple, customizable trail mix made with equal parts cashews, almonds, pistachios (shelled), dried cranberries, and chocolate chips. Mix and store for snacking on the go.
Measure 1 cup raw cashews, 1 cup raw almonds, 1 cup pistachios (shells removed), 1 cup dried cranberries, and 1 cup chocolate chips into a large mixing bowl or a large resealable (zip-top) bag.
If using a resealable bag, seal it completely and shake until the ingredients are evenly distributed. If using a bowl, stir with a spoon until evenly combined.
To take on the go, leave the sealed large bag as-is or transfer the amount you need into smaller resealable bags.
For school or work snacks, divide the trail mix into individual portions using airtight containers, small resealable bags, or reusable stasher bags.
For storing at home, transfer the trail mix to an airtight glass jar (for example, a mason jar) and keep it in a cool, dry place.
To serve at a gathering, pour the trail mix into a large bowl and place it out for guests.
